Sniff. Sniff. Sniff. Tears dropping. ;( I feel bad. I really am. Dear my lovely parents, I miss both of you. For my mie, Thanks for every second you've spent with me. For giving me your shoulder when someone breaks me. For lending me your ear when I'm in mess. You are the greatest mother, And the most sincere friend. I try hard not to hurt you, And to make all your dreams come true. "Kakak anak yang baik. Dont break my heart" Even I know Im not as good as you think I am, I will never break you. For my abah, Thanks for teaching me what life is, For pampering me a lot. For turning all my wishes into reality. Who needs Santa Claus, when I've got you. "Years ago, we drive an iswara. It takes you to school. But when you grow up, I know, you need more than an iswara. So I work harder to buy you a BUS" ;). Thanks but I need an airplane now. Our Second Anniversary At this moment there are 6,470,818,671 people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just not facing the truth. Some are evil men, at war with good. And some are good struggling with people. Six billion people in the world, six billion souls. And sometimes, all you need is one .; One Tree Hill  ILY. Thanks for every little thing.

Galton's effort to measure the intelligence of individuals; Image taken from Amazon ;) Galton's mental tests measured such things as the highest pitch a person could hear, and how well he or she could distinguish small differences in weights, colours, smells, tactile stimuli and the lengths of lines. It follows from this tradition that those with greater sensory perception are more intelligent. ;) The aim of the test was to devise programs that encouraged or discouraged certain people from having children. Huh? He believed that intelligence can be inherited. p/s: FourPence? Sekarang photostat pon SixPence sehelai.

Kamu Bagaimana?

Schools are bad places for children; John Holt (1970) In Italy, a group of school children wrote a letter to a teacher describing school as a 'hospital that tends to the healthy and neglected the sick'; School of Barbiana (1970) So, how do you feel about school? Do you feel the same?

Businesswoman

Is currently busy with her business study. Feeling like calling her dad and ask him to do everything for her as her payoff for helping him at the office. Huh. Been reading a book entitled, 'How to Talk so Kids can Learn', The use of corporal punishment teaches children that violence is the way to solve problems; Dr. Irwin A. Hyman Punishment can control misbehaviour, but by itself it will not teach desirable behaviour or even reduce the desire to misbehave; Dr. Albert Bandura. So what should you do when your students are out of control?

Give Me His Number

Image
In school, assessment is mystify, nobody knows what's gonna be on the test, and when the test results go back, neither the teacher nor the students know what to do. Howard Gardner.

How well can I say?

Join me and have a marathon with me I really wanna run To a place I never know where *Currently hiding her FB's wall from everyone except her family and special one. Really need peace and privacy*

Human and spider

Humans use the multiple options of language often without thinking. But blindly, they sometimes fall into its traps. They are like spiders who exploit their webs, but themselves get caught in the sticky strands. (Aitchison)

My name is...

Image
Words are often felt to hold magical power. A survivor from the Titanic reportedly said: 'My maiden name was Trout: how could I possibly drown?' (Aitchison, 1997, p. 78) My name is AhLeeSah, how could I possibly not smiling? So what's your name?

Disappointing Kids

Seeing a bunch of kids trying to have fun is absolutely indescribable. It's a mixed feeling of amazement, annoyance and some other expressions that I really cant described. Kids will always be kids. It's very complicated to convey what I really feel but... For those girls outside, For those who think that it is so cool being a grown up, That it is amazing living life without any boundaries and limits, These are all nonsense. The fact is, When you grown up, You realise things that you've done are nonsense and sin, And you try hard to pretend that nothing had actually happened, But the reality is, You can never lie. Listen to your mom, listen to your dad, listen to your aunt and so your uncle, listen to your granny and grandpa, And listen to everybody that gives you advice. They might perhaps regret on things they've done, So they never want you to follow his/her kind, It's disappointing seeing kids trying to have fun.

Note 1

You have to use English to your child. Speak English with them. Try. This is the most common advice given by an English language teacher to parents. But however, this might be a not very helping advice. I've been into a class where my lecturer reveals everything *dramatic effect :)* "It depends on the quality of the language you've heard rather than how much you've heard." To simplify, parents with lower level of proficiency, do not have to push themselves too hard to speak English with their children. Parents' wrong pronunciations and word usages may affect the child's language. Thus, it is better to send them to English classes where they can get the better picture of English.  For parents or parent wannabes, it's absolutely fine if you are not proficient in the language. Research conducted has revealed that Asian parents ,especially, are impressed if their children can master the language even if they are uneducated. So relax. Dont push yourself ...

Saya selekeh, nak kawan dengan saya tak?

Since I got absolutely nothing to do today, I suddenly remember something that makes me smile. Haish. So, I'm writing this to my long lost friend, Wherever you are, even you might have forgotten me, It's okay. Do you still remember we walked together going and coming back from school? We had to cross a big field and climb the pedestrian bridge. Haha. I envy you a lot since you'd got the ' SWAN easy bag'. I always persuade mom to buy me one, but until now, I never have it by my own. There's time I refused to walk home and I tell you, 'it's okay, my mom will fetch us' but you refused to wait, so you went back alone and I was scolded by mom for not walking back home. You always had a pony tail that may be shorter than mine. But then your dad transfered to Kuantan and that's it. We might be cuter then this when we were 7 ;)

Buku itu Bantal

I've been trying for almost EIGHT years to sleep in the class. Sometimes, I push myself too hard only to sleep in the class. But never do I success. Even for 5 seconds. It's quite disappointing. Jeles wokeh tengok orang bermimpi time cikgu tengah mengajar! How can they sleep? It's amazing. Dont try to teach me, perhaps, I've implemented all the theories.
