Just because they cannot read and write well, It doesnt mean they are stupid. Just because they cannot read and write well, It doesnt mean they are suffering from ADHD, dyslexia or dyspraxia. I was never so taken aback in my life. Everybody was astonished, I was always afraid of things that worked the first time. Long experience proved that there were great drawbacks found generally before they could be got commercial; but here was something there was no doubt of. (Clark, 1977, p.77) Genius is one-percent of inspiration and 99 percent of perspiration. Well, about 99 percent of it is a knowledge of things that will not work. The other one percent may be genius, but the only way that I know to accomplish anything is everlastingly to keep working with the patient observation. (Clark, 1977, p.89) Thomas Edison.

Dont give them names which you dont want your children to be called, Dont simply labelled them by words that you dont want people to point at you. I hate listening people condemning kids by using those mean words. I hate seeing people excluding certain students just because of their incapabilities. If those things are to happen to you, If your children are ignored in classrooms, What will you feel then? People simply say, We cant cater all students need, We can only help the majority of them, But only can keep track on the minority. What if you yourself are being treated the same as you treat your minority students? How do you feel? Can you understand the teacher's rationale of doing such? I cant. Just because everything now is on you, Just because you are now in charge of everything, Just because you have the power, Just because you are more superior than the students, You are pleased to do everything you want? To shush them when they realise you are way...

Kids will take the chance. If they dont know, they will have a go. They are not frightened to be wrong. No, i dont mean to say that being wrong is the same with being creative. What we do know is, if you're not prepared to be wrong, you'll never come back with anything original. If you're not prepared to be wrong and by the time they get to be adult, most kids have lost that capacity. They have become frightened of being wrong and we ruin our company by the way, we stigmatized mistake. And we now running National Education system where mistakes are the worst thing you can make. And the result is, we are educating people out of their creative capacity. Sir Ken Robinson in here .

Leonore Skenazy (2010). The idea that if you give your children absolutely everything and do absolutely everything for them so that they only will get A, and go for it, in exactly this path - that everything will turn up the way you want, is a WEIRD idea. You cant CONTROL somebody's life. You cant even control yourself but you urge to control your children and curse them just because they fail to get an A? Huh. What a good parent you are. The most valuable lesson in life is free. From Youtube .

Currently is watching Waiting for Superman. It is a superb educational documentary. It has successfully uncovered real situations in the United States. I am stunned by the principals attitude. They pop into classes to see how their teachers are doing. They walk alongside with their students only to discover their opinions on their teachers and education. It is a very student-centered approach rather than teacher-centered. I agree that it is better to investigate students perception on their school and their education instead of asking teachers on how they think their students are progressing. Teachers know their students but students know themselves better. I adore them. They are principals neither because they were once being promoted nor they are fond of greater pay, But because they realise the harm schools bring to students. They bring changes and work hard for days and nights just to see students development. I wish one day, I am able to witness a big sum of princ...
