Dont give them names which you dont want your children to be called,
Dont simply labelled them by words that you dont want people to point at you.

I hate listening people condemning kids by using those mean words.
I hate seeing people excluding certain students just because of their incapabilities.

If those things are to happen to you,
If your children are ignored in classrooms,
What will you feel then?

People simply say,
We cant cater all students need,
We can only help the majority of them,
But only can keep track on the minority.

What if you yourself are being treated the same as you treat your minority students?

How do you feel?
Can you understand the teacher's rationale of doing such?
I cant.

Just because everything now is on you,
Just because you are now in charge of everything,
Just because you have the power,
Just because you are more superior than the students,
You are pleased to do everything you want?

To shush them when they realise you are wayy of track,
To ask them to stand on the chair when they fail to make sense your questions,
To send them to discipline teacher when they misbehave without even asking why,
To just rip his book when he fails to finish his homework without understanding his condition,
These things might happen to you at least once in your lifetime.
How do you feel?
Do these help you to progress?
No!

Just give yourself a think.
A wise one before you go to sleep.

Dont laugh too much on them.

Use Malay (L1) instead of English (L2) in English Lessons?

The debate on the use of L1 in L2 lessons has been going on since forever. Different scholars come out with different theories and hypotheses yet no one theory or hypothesis has become the most significant. After all, it all depends on the teaching context. The use of L1 has always been a contentious issue. Teachers have choices whether to: ban L1; minimise L1; or maximise L2. Again, it all depends on the context the teachers are in. It is best to also mention that even so, teachers who resort to the L1, despite their best intentions, often feel guilty for straying from L2 path (Cook, 2001). However now, let's not talk about teacher's use of L1.  Let's look at student's use of L1 in L2 lessons.  Should we ban the use of L1 among students in L2 lessons?
