It has been a few weeks since I got the mark for my thesis. All I can say is ' Alhamdullilah '. I'd put a lot of hard work and was very determined to make it a success. There were times when I gave up because I thought that 'all that I am doing is rubbish'. When I felt like it, I really took ample time off, had lot of fun and played around. But after all, I had to work extremely hard to regain my will power to continue doing my thesis. Now that everything has ended, I feel a little bit relieved. This is the front cover of my thesis. Yeah, I have a damn long title for my thesis. I only thought of the suitable title for my thesis hours before submitting it and was really nervous to submit it. I was really 'cuak' that I'd even typed my student id wrongly. Haha. Thank God, the lady who worked in the office was really kind to gave me a solution to my silly mistake. More, I must say that the most interesting part of my thesis is my acknowled...

Up up up, down down down.

People say, 'Orang bila da diatas, mereka lupa kita yang dibawah ni'. And I really give it a thought. Suddenly I realise one nasty fact. For me, it's completely cool to forget 'orang yang dibawah' if the people were once the people who belittled us, said nasty things about and towards us, also the 'indeed friends' (they are the cool dudes who once chose not to help us when in fact we were in need of their help). Jadi, to those who like to condemn people by saying: 'Orang bila da diatas, mereka lupa kita yang dibawah ni', give it a thought. Do you deserve to be treated as such? Sometimes you may think you don't deserve it whilst the fact is, you really deserve it! Sorry guys. I'm a typical human being. I hold grudges.

When a teachers talks about reality.

Asking for miracles, describing public education as “failing”, using words like “crisis” in the headlines, these are setting a crummy tone for the conversation. It makes parents wonder whether a day’s worth of challenge and success is good enough for their child. It makes kids doubt the chances for their future. Parents and children begin to look at their teachers, their school and see not the reality of hard work, but the specter of doom. Don’t go in there. There aren’t any miracles happening. First and foremost, I am a pro -government. But, what he said make sense; " [...] contoh ketiga, pelaburan 10 bilion memerlukan 2.8 juta pelancong melawat setahun untuk balik modal. 2.8 juta untuk 1 resort []. Ini melebihi jumlah ketibaan penumpang disepanjang tahun di lapangan terbang Kota Kinabalu [...]" (6:40-6:54)  " [...] Sepatutnya rujuk kepada Unit Perancangan Ekonomi, Perbendaharaan, Bank Negara. Pada tradisinya begitu dan saya fikir ada keupayaan mereka untuk memberikan unjuran walaupun lari sedikit tetapi lebih realistik [...]" (9:25-9:40)

The claim

to be educated is not to have arrived at a destination; it is to travel with a different view. What is required is not feverish preparation for something that lies ahead but, to work with precision, passion, taste at worthwhile things that lie at hand. Richard Peters.
