Tak Salah Mak Nak EMO

THE connection between the amygdala and the neocortex are the hub of the battles or cooperative treaties struck between head and heart, thought and feeling. This circuitry explains why emotion is so crucial to effective thought, both in making wise decisions and in simply allowing us to think clearly. (Goleman, 1995)

I am extremely busy these days. Oh. How I wish I have more than 24 hours a day so that I can sleep a little bit longer than I always do ;). Come on. 7 hours is not enough. I need an 8 hours sleep everyday. *budget gila*. Recently, I frequently caught myself reading uninteresting books. Actually, the books were interesting but the only thing they did to me is they failed to trigger my interest to keep on reading. However, today, I just start reading a book by Goleman. I do enjoy reading the book and obviously I cant wait to read every word in it. For people who are keen with children's drawing. I advice you to read Children's Drawing by Jacqueline Goodnow. It is a nice book. It gives brief explanation on children's drawing. However, for me, the downside of the book is, it fails to explain the relation between the children's drawing and their state of intelligence. *maybe there are somewhere in the book which explain about it but, I hope more emphasis is to be given...

Just because they cannot read and write well, It doesnt mean they are stupid. Just because they cannot read and write well, It doesnt mean they are suffering from ADHD, dyslexia or dyspraxia. And if they are being diagnosed as children with ADHD, dyslexia or dyspraxia, It doesnt mean that they are good for nothing. List of famous people with the gift of dyslexic Inspired by this book. After reading this book, I may claim myself as suffering from dyspraxia. ;)

I was never so taken aback in my life. Everybody was astonished, I was always afraid of things that worked the first time. Long experience proved that there were great drawbacks found generally before they could be got commercial; but here was something there was no doubt of. (Clark, 1977, p.77) Genius is one-percent of inspiration and 99 percent of perspiration. Well, about 99 percent of it is a knowledge of things that will not work. The other one percent may be genius, but the only way that I know to accomplish anything is everlastingly to keep working with the patient observation. (Clark, 1977, p.89)   Thomas Edison.
