Expectation

Image
Expectation is the root of heartache , yet we can't avoid from having them. We tend to create images of the future we hope to happen. Future then becomes a place where we believe things would be easier and life would be nicer. However, often, when we reach the ' future ', we are surprised; sometimes disappointed, that future is nothing like what we had been expecting for. When we are working on a project we have been spending days and nights with, we expect things to work out well. When we are moulding a clay we have spent thousands on, we expect the figurine to turn out well. When we have prepared everything for a disaster, we expect ourselves to live safe and sound. That's logic. We expect every single thing that we do, decide or commit now will pay off in the future.  Why? Because it motivates us to be persistently positive when dealing with failure, disappointment and deadlock and it will keep us going; even when we have no faith in it ...
