English Debate: The Basic Tips
Below are few basic tips to do well in English debates:
- Know your role;
- Do not introduce more than 3 arguments (one argument from the 1st speaker, two from the second);
- Do provide a lot of examples to support your argument.
- Accept at least 2 POIs (if you wish to decline POI, please do it in the best manner);
- Don't be text-dependent;
- Be extra careful with your pronunciation, language (don't make up words) and slip of tongue (ie: destructive and constructive are two different things);
- Never ever call the first speaker of the opposition Prime Minister.

An Adjudicator.
