Speak Out

Image
More people should have the courage to speak their mind out so that other people could learn and understand them better. Many love to keep things to themselves because it is pleasurable and because it is safer , and because speaking out may open up chances for people to criticise and to hurt .  Silence has never killed anybody but silence too has never healed anybody.  People need to speak out. Speaking out could be threatening, tiring, emotionally draining, yet most of the time, it is the only way out of the tensed situations we are inflicted on. Speaking out may take a lot of strengths but staying in silence could cause harm.  When at work, learn to say NO. When at home, share what and how we feel. When in public, vocalize our thoughts. When with partners, pour out your heart. When with friends, let them know. When with an enemy, make them listen. Stop assuming things.  "They should have known the pile of work I'm working on." Pit Stop

Image
This post was written on Sept 21, 2013. Sometimes you just feel tired, feel weak, When you feel weak, you feel like you just wanna just give up, But you gotta search within you, try and find that inner strength, And just pull that shit out of you, and get that motivation not to give up, And not be a quitter no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face. Till I collapse- Eminem There are countless events in my life when my negative inner voice implored: ' Babe, I'm tired. That's it, let's just give up .' At the culmination of my self-defeat or my depression, I also do things which people called as acts of giving up. As I am bad at handling my emotions, I spend a week or two crying and hiding under my comforter, skipping meals, brainstorming homicide notes and writing a new diary entry with advanced cursing verbs dedicated to either myself or some other people. Oh, what a typical immature girl! However, the funny activities don't go any fu...

Losing

Image
This post is going to be quite emotional.  Losing hurts. Losing your first pet hurts. Losing your favourite pj hurts. Losing your trust on your best pal hurts. Losing hurts - no matter what it is that one is losing. It hurts. Sometimes in such a way no one had expected. I may have experienced a few losses with one that has impacted me a lot. However, this one has brought the greatest. Losing my unborn child at 10 weeks of pregnancy. Though it ended early, in which many believe that the bond between me and the child wasn't very strong, it was the baby my husband and I had been waiting for. Though the baby was only with us for few weeks, we had plans ready for him. The cot, the room, the nursery, the playschool, parents' dos and donts. We were overjoyed by the news of his arrival. It wasn't only us, our families too. My mistake was that I, didn't expect for the worst. I thought my prayers were finally answered until the very moment I last saw my baby....

Character and Betrayal

Image
People who don't break character when they're betrayed, experts say, often have something else that defines them, like children, religion, a purpose in life; others who lose themselves entirely in their romantic relationships—and from what is observed, high-achieving women seem surprisingly prone to this—are more vulnerable to losing control. (source) When I was betrayed, I attempted to break my character and transformed myself into being the meanest and the most wicked woman ever lived in the betrayers' life. I study human and women hence to be one is not such a big deal. More, I had nothing else to lose as I have lost a lot in a game I did not agree on playing. Reminiscing my 10 months of misery, cursing words, harsh realities and heartbreaking nonsense, I am glad that I have successfully held myself from breaking my character and from being the meanest and the most wicked woman in the life of the people not worth mentioning.  Feeling betrayed and foole...

Depression

Image
Recently, I went to the university library to borrow some books for my leisure reading. And then I picked up some books on depression because I believe that there are too many students who are suffering from depression attending schools every day. So, due to the fact that there is a high possibility for me to deal with the 'depressed' students, I think that it is a wise decision to understand their problem by doing some reading. So currently I'm reading this book:  As always, reading always makes me feel amazing because: I discover a lot of interesting facts; I find my new interests; and I understand human more. I'd found this poster on the net. It is quite interesting that the poster has a woman in it instead of a man. Though this is just a poster which aimed at spreading awareness of depression, based on my reading, I suggest the poster has a woman in it because: [...] experts in mental health and related fields point to evidence that dep...
